- Spinach - 5 bunches(preferably arai keerai)
- turmeric powder - a pinch
- Salt - to taste
- Coconut oil - 1 tablespoon
- Jeera - 1 tablespoon
- green chilli - 2
- Red chilli - 1
- Mustard seeds - 1 teaspoon
- Urad dal ,split - 1 teaspoon
Method:
======
- Separate spinach leaves from stem and wash well.
- Heat a kadai and saute spinach till the raw smell goes off.
- Set aside to cool.
- Add green chillies and salt to the cooked spinach and grind finely in a mixer.
- Saute the ground paste for a minute in the kadai.
- Temper with mustard seeds,urad dal,jeera and red chilli.(Use coconut oil)
It goes well with any morekootan.
